SIP attracted over 600 sci-tech projects in the first half of the year, maintaining high-speed and high-level development.

Projects focused on technologies in the emerging industries of biomedicine and healthcare, nanotech application and new materials, AI and digital solutions as well as new energy and green development account for 83% of these projects. The number of projects with investments increased by 11% year-on-year.

Among the projects are the AI server project of COMPAL, a Fortune Global 500 company, the wholly-owned subsidiary of DBAPP Security Co Ltd (DAS-Security), a nationally recognized “little giant”, and the factory of Linghe Technology, the earliest, largest private enterprise engaged in air bearing research and development.

In addition to these newly introduced projects, about 60 projects, with the total investment exceeding RMB4 billion, broke ground or came into operation in SIP over the first six months of this year.
