Recently, Porton Advanced, an SIP-based company which provides end-to-end CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organization) solutions for advanced therapy medicinal products, and Cellstore, a company specializing in next-generation, safety-optimized biological sample cryopreservation solutions, launched strategic cooperation.

The companies collaborate in optimizing cryopreservation technology for cell therapy drugs, reducing costs and enhancing profitability. The partnership aims to overcome technical bottlenecks in cell freezing, and accelerate R&D, production and commercialization of cell therapy drugs.

Specifically, Cellstore will provide Porton Advanced with precisely formulated, high-efficiency, and safe cryopreservation media tailored to different types of cells and compatible with automated production needs to support process upgrades.

Additionally, the two companies will co-develop customized cryopreservation solutions for challenging cell samples and special manufacturing requirements, and collaborate in pharmaceutical excipient registration to accelerate market launch of new drugs.
